Expression data of wild-type and mutant worms treated with Cry5Ba

Microarrays data of wild-type and mutant worm(RB1884) were used to determin which genes in the nematode were expressed depednet on mnp-1 To identify the genes that are key factors involved in MNP-1 mediated protection against Cry5Ba L4 stage RB1884 and N2 worms were fed with Cry5Ba/BL21 or BL21 at 20℃ for 4h, the worms washed by M9 buffer for 2-3 times were collected into 1.5 ml tubes, which were stored at -70°C after addition of 150 µl Trizol solution. Microarray production, hybridization, and scanning were performed with Affymetrix C. elegans fene 1.0 ST. The default background subtraction and normalization settings were used. Spots were filtered based on foreground to background ratio; values less than 1.2 were flagged. Log (base 2) values were exported.
