Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Rivers subject to Weed Bands in Deux-Sèvres in 2021

Rivers for cross-compliance: these are watercourses or portions of watercourses to be bordered by buffer strips under good agricultural and environmental conditions (GAEC), defined by prefectural decree.

This Geographic Information Layer was revised at the end of 2020 in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and IGN; This data can also be consulted on the geoportal at this address: https://www.geoportail.gouv.fr/donnees/cours-eau-bcae-2021.

The buffer strip, commonly referred to as grassy strip, is a strip consisting of grass, shrub, or tree cover, as stipulated in Article 2 of the Ministerial Order of 13/07/2010.
Article D615-45 of the Rural Code states that the buffer strip must be at least 5 m wide.

The rivers concerned by the buffer strips in Deux-Sèvres are those defined by the Prefectural Decree of 21 July 2006 (http://www.deux-sevres.gouv.fr/content/download/4375/29832/file/arr_bandes_enherbees_cle717fca.pdf).

— part of the rivers in full blue lines on the latest editions of the maps of the National Geographical Institute at 1/25000 th

— and, on the other hand, rivers in dotted blue lines on the most recent editions of the IGN maps at 1/25000th for the strategic watersheds for the drinking water resource of the department, for the natura areas of Magot, the upstream Thouet and Auutise and for the banks of the rivers classified as the 1st category of fish and their tributaries
