Zu Grenzen der Psychotherapie On the limits of psychotherapy

Das Thema Grenzen und Umgang mit Grenzen von und in der Psychotherapie wird als ein Kernthema dieser Disziplin insgesamt, und jeder Psychotherapie im einzelnen erörtert: Grenzen des Patienten/der Klienten, des Therapeuten/der Therapeutin, Grenzen der therapeutischen Beziehung – man könnte noch hinzufügen Grenzen des Settings (Praxis, Klinik), des Kontexts (Familie, Freunde) usw. Es werden verschiedene Positionen aus der Literatur dargestellt und mit integrativen Positionen abgeglichen. Die jeweiligen Grenzen müssen «personalisiert» mit allen an therapeutischen Prozessen Beteiligten bestimmt und dann spezifisch und prozessorientiert umgesetzt werden, um Patientenwürde, Patientinnenintegrität und Patientensicherheit und Therapieerfolg so gut wie irgend möglich zu gewährleisten. Schematisierte Lösungen wird es zu diesem Thema nicht geben, sondern nur Rahmenrichtlinien, wie in der Integrativen Therapie die therapieethische und klinischpragmatische «Grundregel integrativer Therapie» (Petzold 2000a) The topic of limits/boundaries and dealing with limits/boundaries of and in psychotherapy is discussed as core topic of the discipline as a whole, and of e v e r y individual psychotherapy: Limits/boundaries of the patient/client, of the therapist, limits/boundaries of the therapeutic relationship – one could add boundaries/limits of the setting (private practice, clinic), of the context (family, friends), etc. Various positions from the literature are presented and compared with integrative positions.
