Phenanthrene Toxicity to Americamysis bahia and 5 deep-sea crustaceans

The toxicity of phenanthrene to mysid shrimp and 5 deep-sea crustacean species from the Gulf of Mexico was assessed using a 48-hour constant exposure equipped with a passive dosing system. Mortality was assessed at specific intervals, and concentrations of the toxicant were measured at the start and end of the exposure to facilitate calculation of an LC50 for use in the target lipid model.
