Share of Belgians who indicated consuming more media due to COVID lockdown 2021

In 2021, 20 percent of Belgian consumers have increased the time spent streaming movies and series as a result of the COVID-related lockdown. In general, the increase of media consumption was higher during 2020 than the year after that. While 12 percent of gamers have increased their consumption of online gaming in 2021, that was the case for 17 percent of them in 2020.
