Another Commentary (by قوله) on [Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar] Taftâzânî’s تهذيب المنطق by Najm al-dîn ‘ABDALLAH B. Shihâb al-dîn, who appears to be identical with the preceding author [see note below].

He completed his work on 27th Dhu’l-k’dah, 967 [=19 August 1560 CE].

This commentary was printed at Calcutta, A.H. 1243.

The author’s conclusion runs as follows:

فرغ من باليقه (تاليفه.r) الفقير الى عفو مولاه نجم بن شهاب المدعو بعبدالله بلغه ما يتمناه و جعل آخرته خيرا من دنياه و كان الفراغ ضحوة الاربعاء بسبع و عشرين خلون من ذی قعدة مضون حجر (؟ حجج.r) سبع و ستين و تسعمائة فى المشهد المقدس الغروى صلوات الله على مشرقه ابولى (مشرِّفه الولى.r) الوصى

Plainly written, in narrow columns. The text of the Tahdhîb, and some notes, are added on the margin of the earlier portion. Date, A.H. 1005 [= 1596-97 CE] (سنة ١٠٥).1
