To investigate the transcription profile of 20_S_Protopanaxadiol (PPD) treated NCI_H1299 human non_small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells and explore the mechanism of the inhibitory effects of PPD. NCI_H1299 cells were seeded into a 6 cm plate(2 X 105 cells/well).After cultured overnight, the medium was changed with medium containing 26 ug/mL of PPD or an equal amount of DMSO and cultured for another 48 h. Then, the medium was discarded; the cells were washed with PBS, lysed and preserved in Trizol. Total RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent, libraries were constructed using NEBNext UltraTM RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (NEB, Ipswich, MA, USA), and library preparations were sequenced on the Illumina novaseq6000.
