Gut transcriptome of largemouth bass, green sunfish and their hybrid offspring

The diploid hybrid fish (LG) were obtained by crossing female largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides, LB) and male green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus, GS). Preliminary research has indicated that the LG is omnivorous and has a high survival rate during the early domestication. In order to further evaluate the genetic regulation mechanism of feeding habits variability in LG, we compared the differences in gut transcription characteristics of the three fish species.
