These files relate to a Supreme Court defamation action brought by a Mr M J Tebbut against the Board over an article which appeared in the "Poultry Farmer". Mr Tebbut belonged to the Poultry Farmers Defence Committee, an organisation opposed to the hen quota system. The files include correspondence with the Board's and Mr Tebbut's legal advisors, and the Ombudsman, as well as copies of the transcript, the out of court settlement and other legal documents.
