Niveomyces and Pseudoniveomyces gen. nov. (ITS-LSU-TEF1)
收藏资源简介:
The 3-loci phylogeny (ITS-LSU-TEF1) revealed that the fourteen specimens exhibiting Sporothrix-like asexual morphs (i.e. Niveomyces spp. and Pseudoniveomyces gen. nov.) included in this study formed two strongly supported monophyletic clades; one included N. insectorum (= S. insectorum, CBS756.73) and N. coronatus (NY04434800) (i.e. the genus Niveomyces, BS = 78 and 1.00 Bayesian posterior probability), branching as a sister clade to Pseudogibellula formicarum, and another independent clade (Pseudoniveomyces gen. nov., represented by P. blattae sp. nov. with 100% support), which branches as a sister taxon to a clade comprising Gibellula, Hevansia and Jenniferia. Four, fully-supported subclades could be observed within Niveomyces, with one subclade containing both N. insectorum (= S. insectorum) and the recently proposed type species for Niveomyces, N. coronatus (Araújo et al. 2022).
