United States Mortality Rates and Life Expectancy by County, Race, and Ethnicity 2000-2019

Estimates were produced for mortality rates and life expectancy at the county level in the United States, and by racial/ethnic group, for each year between 2000-2019. These estimates were produced using population and deaths data from the National Center for Health Statistics. This dataset includes the following:
- CSV files of county-, state-, and national-level estimates of mortality rates and life expectancy for each age group, sex, year, and racial-ethnic group (all of which are non-Latino, except for the Latino group): White, Black, American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN), Asian and Pacific Islander (API), and Latino. Blank cells are for masked estimates
- Code used to generate the estimates
