This series consists of inward registered correspondence, related to the function of construction of new lines of railway. Various agencies had responsibility for railways construction since 1857. The majority of the correspondence was received by the Railway Construction Branch (1892-1965) and the Railway Construction Board (1964-1980).VPRS 425/P1: EstraysThis consignment consists of estrays that at some time became separated from the records in VPRS 425/P.VPRS 425/ P2: Melbourne Underground Railway Loop (MURL) project files.
