Supporting data and analysis code for "Multiscale climatic drought across the contiguous United States: historical variability, projected changes and environmental correspondence
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the processed datasets, derived outputs, and analysis scripts supporting the study “Multiscale climatic drought across the contiguous United States: historical variability, projected changes and environmental correspondence.” The study evaluates climatic drought across the contiguous United States using the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) at 1-, 3-, 6-, and 9-month accumulation scales. The repository includes materials related to the historical analysis for 2000–2024, future drought projections based on four downscaled CMIP5 models under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5, and complementary environmental analyses using TerraClimate soil water storage and MODIS vegetation indices. It also includes outputs from the spatially continuous MODIS NDVI analysis and atmospheric analyses for the selected drought years 2012 and 2024. The deposited materials are intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the data-processing and analytical procedures described in the associated manuscript. Original source datasets remain available from their respective data providers.
