Runoff Event Typology Dataset

This dataset provides a comprehensive event-typology database for gauged catchments, including catchment boundaries, seasonal catchment metadata, and event-level precipitation–stormflow records for dormant and growing seasons. The metadata tables summarize catchment location and performance metrics, snow fraction, primary/secondary meteorological event types, event-type consistency, and daily/weekly coherency indices. Event-level tables include precipitation and stormflow timing, durations, volumes, runoff ratio, soil saturation index, snowpack and snowmelt contribution metrics, and hydrologic response indices. The archive also includes catchment-specific growing-season month definitions and daily time series data (one CSV per catchment) for observations (and optional simulations). Global interactive maps corresponding to the dataset are provided separately via kepler.gl.
