Weaning body condition, preweaning survival, and post-weaning residence under contrasting breeding densities in Baltic grey seals
收藏资源简介:
The study investigated interannual variation in pup production, preweaning survival, post-weaning residence, and weaning body condition in a Baltic grey seal (*Halichoerus grypus*) breeding colony at Innarahu, Estonia. Repeated drone-derived counts of pups in developmental stages were analysed using a Bayesian state-space population model. Drone-derived polygon area was calibrated against measured pup mass to estimate body mass of free-ranging moulting pups. Model-derived cumulative pup-density exposure was then related to estimated moulting pup mass using Bayesian regression models. The repository is intended to provide the data and code required to reproduce the principal analyses and figures reported in the manuscript. See README.Rmd for details.
