Correlation between systemic immune profile and lung microbiome in CF patients. Cystic fibrosis systemic immune profile is associated with the lung microbiome and characterized by widespread alterations in the innate and adaptive immune compartments

We use metatranscriptomics analysis to determine the microbiome composition in a cohort of patients affected by cystic fibrosis at different stages of the pathology and link the relative abundance of different genera with the systemic immune response.
