Habitat types of the habitat mapping programs of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and Baden-Württemberg

This table includes all habitat types from the habitat mapping programs of the federal states Hamburg (HH), Schleswig-Holstein (SH), and Baden-Württemberg (BW) in Germany. The table indicates in which broad groups ("Group") they were sorted for an analysis by Lüttgert et al. (2025). Given are the codes of each type ("Code"), which are unique to each state and correspond to the German name of each habitat type. NAs in the column "Group" indicate that the habitat type was not used for analysis, mainly because there were no species lists available. The column “Time” for the state SH indicates if this habitat type category was mapped during the first (1) or second (2) time.
