ONLINE CATALOGUE ESTER is the shared catalogue of the largest libraries of Estonia. The catalogue also contains records of items stored in university colleges and special libraries.
The compilation of the online catalogue started in 1999. Although the catalogue has since been continuously supplemented, it does not yet comprehensively reflect the collections of member libraries. The online catalogue ESTER contains records on books, periodicals, sheet music, sound recordings, online resources, etc. Articles published in the Estonian press and collections can be found in the database of Estonian articles ISE.
Online catalogue ESTER enables to:
Search the items in the catalogue by many search terms: Author, Title, Subject, Call Number, UDC, ISBN, etc.
Find the bibliographic and holdings data of books and other items
Find the exact location of the required item in the library
See whether the item is available or checked out
