Deforestation within 50 km spatial tiles with sectoral attribution by hectare (2001–2024)

This dataset contains spatial tiles representing 50 km analysis unitsused to measure deforestation between 2001 and 2024. The dataset includes:(1) a spatial shapefile defining tile geometries, and(2) a tabular dataset containing annual deforestation estimates(in hectares) disaggregated by end-use sector using SPAM2020classifications. The tabular data are linked to spatial geometries via a sharedtile identifier, enabling spatial analysis and visualization. Prepared for the cs3-biodiversity research project.
