Future mobility - e-mobility

The report describes the process and content of the Citizens' Conference “Future Mobility – E-Mobility”. The aim was to raise awareness of a complex socio-political issue, to stimulate exchange and to put dialogue on a broad basis. In the course of a citizens' conference in August 2010, 32 citizens from all over Austria developed 15 recommendations for business, politics and administration on how to deal with mobility in a three-day joint learning, discussion and voting process. This communiqué was subsequently presented to various stakeholders and thus returned to a general discussion. The Citizens' Conference was held on the initiative of Verbund. The Risk:Dialogue of the Federal Environment Agency and Radio Ö1 supported the conception and implementation.
