Raw metabolomic and plant performance trait data of Fragaria vesca across European common gardens

This dataset contains raw leaf metabolomic data (36 primary metabolites) and plant performance-related traits (biomass, reproduction and herbivore damage) measured in 15 Fragaria vesca genotypes grown in multiple European common gardens along a south–north latitudinal gradient. Data correspond to Tables S2 and S3 of the article ‘Variation in phenotypic plasticity of metabolic and performance traits along a latitudinal gradient in woodland strawberry’ (DOI: 10.1186/s12870-026-09236-9) and were collected over two growing seasons following the common-garden design and methods described therein.
