资源简介:
This dataset comprises some simulation results for the published paper titled "Improving Hurricane Intensity and Streamflow Forecasts in Coupled Hydro-Meteorological Simulations by Analyzing Precipitation and Boundary Layer Schemes" by Md Murad Hossain Khondaker and Mostafa Momen (2024). The dataset includes the outputs from Hurricane Harvey simulations performed using the Weather Research and Forecasting model (WRF) version 4.2.2 and WRF Hydrological model version 5.1.2, with an 8-km horizontal grid resolution. The outputs of WRF and WRF-Hydro runs include the default models as well as our new adjustment on planetary boundary layer schemes which led to improved hurricane intensity and streamflow forecasts. Moreover, some of the post-processing codes utilized to generate several figures presented in the paper are provided for facilitating using the data.
