SD mindset data

133 participants completed a scale assessing their level of chronic self-doubt and a measure of mindset about self-doubt. Next, they completed the self-doubt mindset manipulation, which was followed by a post-manipulation measure of mindset about self-doubt. Participants then completed a series of dependent measures, including affect, self-esteem, reasoning performance, and task engagement (attention, effort, and enjoyment). All data were collected in accordance with the ethical standards of the American Psychological Association and those of the Institutional Review Board.
