THE ROLE OF MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

The article examines the history of the use of information technologies in the activities of enterprises. It is proved that information technologies at enterprises play a major role not only in increasing competitiveness, but also in maintaining an effective and sufficient level of security, connectivity, communication and service. All the resources of the technology industry are aimed at automating the traditional processes of enterprises.
