Shotgun metagenome sequencing of human saliva using HiSeq. Homo sapiens

An additional experiment was also conducted in which two saliva samples from three out of the four individuals were taken and stored using either OMNIgene ORAL or an alternative kit (RNAlater), followed by the same DNA extraction, library construction. The libraries were equally mixed and subjected to a run of multiplex genome sequencing with the Illumina HiSeq 2 ? 150 bp paired-end run protocol. The data after the quality control and removal of human reads are deposited at DDBJ.
