This data set (figures + descriptive text) pertains to a site in California's San Joaquin Valley where compositing operations may have led to adverse groundwater impacts. Geochemical modeling of site data, supported by data analysis/GIS comparing regional data to site data, suggests multiple mechanisms may be influencing data, including dilution from an unknown water source, and reactions involving carbonate mineral and gypsum equilibration, plus ion exchange.
