This integrated project employs both single-cell and bulk RNA-sequencing to systematically investigate the role of YAP1 in remodeling the hepatic microenvironment. It provides single-cell transcriptomic profiles of liver cells from Albumin-Cre driven hepatocyte-specific Yap1 knockout mice (Alb-Yap1 KO) and their littermate controls (Yap1f/f), aimed at discovering changes in cell type composition, intercellular communication, and transcriptomic states at cellular resolution. Bulk RNA-seq data from independent biological replicates with the identical genetic backgrounds (Alb-Yap1 KO and Yap1f/f) are included to provide robust validation of key discoveries at the tissue level and to quantify pathway-level alterations. Together, these data offer a comprehensive molecular resource for understanding YAP1-mediated mechanisms in liver biology and disease.
