<b>TESTING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TRAINING ABOUT FOOD PREPARATION AND FEEDING PRACTICE AMONG CAREGIVERS OF CEREBRAL PALSY CHILDREN IN ZANZIBAR</b>-DATA SET

This data set was collected at the study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the training on linear programmed dietary plan, food preparation, and feeding practice among caregivers of children with Cerebral palsy in Zanzibar. a randomized control trial; randomly selected and grouped into control and intervention groups. Involves 100 caregivers of children with CP, 50 in the control and 50 in the intervention groups. The intervention process consists of two stages: i) developing a linear programmed plan and ii) adapting the training material for food preparation and feeding practice and then training caregivers on the linear programmed dietary plan, food preparation, and feeding practice. Training Intervention was done in one month gives the result. Baseline and endline knowledge, attitude and food preparation and feeding practices skills were assessed and analysed using STATA version 14. ANCOVA was used to assess the effectiveness of training on knowledge, attitude and practical skills of food preparation and feeding practice between controls and the intervention group before and after the intervention. All statistical tests were be two-sided, and P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.
