Bibliometric analysis of the ncRNA study of diabetes mellitus with coronary artery disease: data visualization

Non-coding RNA (ncRNA) plays a role in the development of diabetes and coronary heart disease. However, there is limited research on the association between ncRNA and these conditions. We searched the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) databases for articles published in the past decade. We analyzed publication volume, country of origin, authors, and keywords using Microsoft Office Excel, CiteSpace, and VOSviewer. We analyzed 362 papers from 54 countries/regions, involving 282 authors. Re-search on ncRNA in the context of diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease has made significant progress but has room for further development. The identified research areas can guide re-searchers in selecting their directions.
