BfG INSPIRE WFS Download Service Area management / restriction / regulation zones and reporting units

The metadata set describes the Web Feature Service (WFS) of INSPIRE Annex Topic III "Managed Areas, Protected Areas, Regulated Areas and Reporting Units". On behalf of the water management administrations in Germany, the Federal Institute for Hydrology (BfG) manages the data of the reporting on various water-related EC environmental directives in the national reporting portal Water (WasserBLIcK). On the basis of this data basis, the BfG provides selected map and data services in coordination with the Länderarbeitsgemeinschaft Wasser (LAWA). The services provided here are based on nationally homogenised data sets. Other administrative levels in Germany (country, district, district, municipality) may provide services in a higher spatial and temporal resolution on this topic.
