Household gross savings rate Netherlands 2007-2022

Dutch households saved roughly 18 percent of their disposable income in the last quarter of 2022. That rate peaked during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching up to 17.58 percent in the second quarter of 2020. The savings rates of Irish households reached even higher peaks than in the Netherlands during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
