Performing technological operations of lengthwise cylindrical groove and mating slot milling in log， as well as connecting cups into bob. Two-edged log (2) is pre-milled from the log to be constructed， which is then basing on table (1) of the longitudinal milling machine and the lengthwise cylindrical groove is milled thereon. After that， workpiece is turned on table by 180° and， starting from the log thin end， an open convex cylindrical surface is milled.
