Identification of LGR6-associated genes in NSCLC

mRNA seq analysis comparing the expression profiles of siRNA-mediated LGR6-silenced and LGR6-retained NSCLC cell lines harboring CTNNB1 exon 3 mutations identified several LGR6-related genes that have been associated with cancer development and stemness properties. HCC15 and A427 NSCLC cell lines were used in the current study. Gene expression was examined in siRNA-mediated LGR6-silenced NSCLC cells and LGR6-retained (control siRNA-treated) NSCLC cells. Cells were transfected with siRNAs targeting LGR6 and were collected at 48 h post-transfection, followed by total RNA extraction from the cells.
