Elements making Marseille an unpleasant city 2022

In 2022, two-thirds of Marseille's residents considered that the dirtiness of their city made it unpleasant and ugly. The second most unpleasant element mentioned by the city's inhabitants was the delinquency present in certain neighborhoods (42 percent), followed by the abandonment of certain neighborhoods by the public authorities (31 percent).
