The accession contains Salinity, Temperature and Depth (STD) and hydrographic data. The data was collected between April 6, 1972 and December 8, 1973 as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project. Data was collected using Ships A. AGASSIZ, ALPHA HELIX, and THOMAS WASHINGTON by Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), La Jolla, CA. Originator's data containing 8 files and 3,039 records from cruises SOUTHTOW LEGS III, IV & VIII CLIMAX 7, LEG II & III was submitted on a tape by Ms. Sarilee Anderson of SIO.
