Transient differential expression of transcription factors underlies the trans-differentiation of human monocytes to macrophages.

To elucidating the time-series transcriptome changes during the trans-differentiation of primary human monocytes activated by surface-adsorption into macrophages via serum addition RNA-seq was performed on several biological replicates at 11 time points (mono, 0 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h, 1-day, 2-days, 3-days, 4-days and 7-days).
