This dataset consists of polygons delineating informal dwelling roofs for selected informal settlements in Cape Town. The polygons were derived from LiDAR data made available from the City of Cape Town and mapped by Adedayo Adeleke of University of Cape Town for the purposes of this paper which was a collaboration between Dr Adeleke and University of Edinburgh. The methodology used by Dr Adeleke is detailed in the accompanying paper.
