Scheduled number of gold medals at Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Japan 2019

As of July 2019, 339 gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and 540 gold medals at the Paralympics were scheduled to be awarded in Japan. In order to create around 5,000 medals in total needed for the competitions, the government collected unused mobile phones and small electronic devices donated by citizens from 2017 to 2019.

截至2019年7月，东京2020年奥运会预计将颁发339枚金牌，而残奥会预计将颁发540枚金牌，均在日本举行。为制作总共约5,000枚比赛所需的奖牌，政府在2017年至2019年期间收集了由公民捐赠的闲置手机及小型电子设备。
