The study 'Industrial Environment and Reproduction 1992 - 1997, part 1' is a description of the semen quality of men and the female urine in a period in which the couple wants to reproduce. The study is made in preparation for the discovery of injurious influence from industrial environment and lifestyle. The study is very extensive and is therefore divided in seven parts. #The basic information about men is in the present study (Part 1). #The purpose of the study is to clarify whether the industrial environment, health and lifestyle among metal workmen has any significance according to involuntary childlessness and/or early abortions. # #The focus is on the following working conditions: #1. Working posture #2. Shift work #3. Stress #4. Use of refrigerant, lubricant and cutting means # #Further more the study has to clarify the influence of leisure habits, consumption of coffee, medicine, alcohol and tobacco. Finally the study has to contribute to the knowledge of the influence of the semen quality on reproduction and pregnancy course
