Scripts for PNAS submission titled "A unified theory for the global thunderstorm distribution and land–sea contrast"

All scripts used to post-process ERA5 and GPM data."submit_template_all.bash" is a bash submission script that I used to compute ECAPE (and other parameters) from ERA5 pressure level data on Derecho. This bash script uses a few of the python scripts as well (look into the bash script to see which ones)<br><br>ECAPE_NEW.py creates the figures in the SI document<br><br>GPM_ANALYSIS_FINAL_NV.py creates the stats plots from GPM data (Fig 2 in the main article)<br><br>SPATIAL_PLOTS_DANEDIT.py creates figure 1 in the main article
