Respectful Maternity Care – Facility Births Experience – Data collection tools

The IDEAS study was conducted to understand the manifestation and prevalence of respectful maternity care, and mistreatment of women during institutional delivery in Gombe state, Nigeria. Qualitative data was collected using a combination of in-depth interviews and focus group discussions conducted with women who had recently given birth in government facilities. The data collection tools made available cover several themes, including their experience accessing care, and their reflection on the quality of care received.
