To investigate the possible impact of MOK in microglial immune responses, we tested the effect of MOK-inhibition with the chemical compound C13, in LPS-stimulated microglial cells. Overall design: Primary microglial cells from newborn mice were cultured and pre-treated with 10 uM AG2P145D/C13 (Garske et al., PNAS 2011; doi: 10.1073/pnas.1111239108) or DMSO (vehicle) for 1 h, and then stimulated with LPS (1 ug/ml) for 5h.
