Transcription data of Paphiopedilum

This study investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying floral color divergence in hybrid progeny of Paphiopedilum delenatii and Paphiopedilum primulinum through transcriptomic analysis. By performing transcriptome sequencing on floral organs of parental species and their hybrids exhibiting distinct pigmentation patterns, we aim to identify differentially expressed genes associated with color variation. This analysis is further integrated with quantitative measurements of secondary metabolites to establish correlations between transcriptional regulation and pigment biosynthesis pathways.
