Transcriptional profile of grape cultured cells exposed to electrical stimulation. Vitis vinifera strain:Koshu

Microarray analysis of grape cultured cells exposed to electrical stimulation was performed. Briefly, electrical stimulation was applied by inserting two electrodes (0.5 mm diameter) into the cell mass and connecting them to a solar panel under a fluorescent lamp. Untreated grape cultured cells were used as control. After the electrical stimulation for 4 h, the cell mass was subjected to microarray analysis using GeneChip Vitis vinifera (Grape) Genome Array (Affymetrix).
