Globigerina bulloides U/Ca and U/Mn ratios in sediment core MD07-3077 from the Subantarctic Atlantic Ocean for Marine Isotope Stage 11

This dataset presents bottom water oxygen reconstructions from Subantarctic Atlantic sediment core MD07-3077 (44.15°S, 14.23°E; 3,770 m water depth) from MIS 12 to 10 (424-374 ka before present) based on Globigerina bulloides U/Ca and U/Mn ratios. The element/Ca ratios were measured on 25 specimens of G. bulloides in the size fraction of 300-355 µm. Samples of G. bulloides were crushed between glass plates but received simplified cleaning, i.e., only clay removal (Barker et al., 2003). The analyses were completed via inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES, Spectro Arcos) and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS, Single Quadrupole Agilent 7900) at the Institute of Geosciences at Kiel University (Kiel, Germany).
