The goal of the study was to identify changes in transcriptome expressions upon treatment of A549 cell line samples with activated A2M. Overall design: Sixteen A549 cell cultures divided into eight pairs were prepared. Each pair consisting of one A2M* treated and one untreated culture. Five samples could not be adequately quantified and subsequently needed to be excluded from downstream sequencing.
