Physical Exertion and Social Position in the Traditional Sporting Game "Bear, Guardian and Hunter"
收藏资源简介:
Dataset description This dataset includes physical exertion and sociometric information collected during the traditional sporting game Bear, Guardian and Hunter. Each row represents a single game sequence corresponding to one participant. Physical exertion data are recorded in columns B to E, derived from WIMU sensors, and reflect the intensity and characteristics of the physical effort performed by each participant during the game sequence. Columns F to K include contextual and demographic information for each sequence, such as the participant’s gender, the gender of the players occupying the Guardian and Bear roles during that sequence and the duration of the sequence. Columns L to O contain categorical closeness variables derived from sociometric data, used to identify the participant’s social role within the class group. Columns P to S include categorical values of the EI (External–Internal) index for each participant, indicating their tendency to establish social relationships with peers of the same gender or of different genders. Role abbreviations are coded as follows: H = Hunter, G = Guardian, and B = Bear. All personal information has been fully anonymised. This dataset enables secondary analyses of physical exertion, motor conduct, sociometric positioning, social network analysis, and relational inclusivity within traditional sporting games.
