Total greenhouse gas emissions from own heating of homes and premises within the geographical area, tonnes of CO2e. Own heating includes heating of homes, commercial and public premises, as well as agricultural and forestry premises. The total greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 of fossil origin and N2O, CH4, HFC, PFC, and SF6) are converted into CO2 equivalents. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. Individual industrial activities can lead to high local emissions, as well as road traffic on the core road network or a large proportion of farms.
