Statistical analyses of data from the population census with an IRIS/Land cover cross. The analysis of INSEE data provided by IRIS raises the problem of the size of geographical objects and the concentration of residential areas within each IRIS. The objective of this analysis is, on the one hand, to assign the statistical value of when IRIS to the only inhabited areas of these and, on the other hand, to homogenize the territory with identical geographical objects. We chose hexagons rather than squares in order to multiply the bonds between each object (6 instead of 4). The data used are: * the IRIS table; * the land use table; * the hexagrid table (6 tables with hexagons of size 10km, 5km, 2km, 1km, 500m and 200m); * INSEE statistical tables grouped into a single table. The process takes place in three phases: * Phase 1: isolating the habitat areas in the land use table (level 11) and the cut-outs with the IRIS; * Phase 2: cut the previous result with the hexagrid table; * Phase 3: join previous tables with statistical data. The result gives 6 cross tables of statistics extrapolated for each hexagon and all over the 3 vintages 2018, 2019 and 2020.
