In the novel Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) tracing process, a potentially pathogenic and highly resistant E. coli was found in the diarrhea stool sample of Paguma larvata.The whole genome was obtained by third-generation nanopore sequencing and second-generation high-throughput sequencing to detect drug resistance and virulence genes.Scientific treatment and rational drug use of civets for farmers to cure diarrhea diseases are of great significance.
